The project involved the resurfacing of Jumping Gulley Road and Peterson Road, both located in Lake Park, Georgia. The project was successfully completed on time for the Lowndes County Board of Commissioners (BOC), showcasing The Scruggs Company’s efficient project management and execution.

Jumping Gulley Road spanned a distance of 5.89 miles and underwent OGI (Open-Graded Interlayer) and Topping resurfacing techniques. A total of 8,889 tons of asphalt were used for this section. On the other hand, Peterson Road covered a length of 1.4 miles and also received OGI and Topping resurfacing. In this case, 2,112 tons of asphalt were utilized.

This resurfacing project was part of the Lowndes County 2022 Resurfacing Project, emphasizing the county’s commitment to maintaining and improving its road infrastructure.
