1965

The Scruggs Company Founded

1981

The Scruggs Company split into two companies (The Scruggs Company and Scruggs Concrete)

1996

Ferrell Scruggs, Jr. named company President

2018

The Scruggs Company acquired by Construction Partners, Inc. (CPI)

2019

New asphalt plant erected in Cordele, GA

2020

Reece Akins named company President

2021

The Scruggs Company merged with Everett Dykes Grassing Co.

2023

New asphalt plant erected in Waycross, GA
